Julieanne E. Steinbacher, Esq.

Julieanne is the founding shareholder of Steinbacher, Sholder & Stahl. She graduated summa cum laude from King’s College, receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Gerontology.  She graduated from law school magna cum laude, receiving her degree from Widener University School of Law. A significant portion of her elder law practice focuses on estate and long-term care planning.
 

 

 


 

Stephen C. Sholder, Esq.

Steve is an attorney with Steinbacher, Sholder & Stahl and has been a practicing attorney for more than 25 years. A native of Williamsport, Steve received his bachelor’s degree from Villanova University and his law degree from Duquesne University School of Law. After serving as a law clerk for the Honorable Thomas C. Raup, former President Judge of Lycoming County, Steve was an associate with the firm of Keiser and Gahr and later a partner in the firm of Gahr and Sholder.


 

 

Adrianne J. Stahl, Esq.


Adrianne is a shareholder of the elder law and special needs planning law firm Steinbacher, Sholder & Stahl. Her focus at Steinbacher, Sholder & Stahl is on estate planning, long-term heath care planning, and estate administration. Additionally, she has been a speaker for the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Tax Pro Seminars, and Estate & Long Term Care Planning, Inc.

 


 

Jennifer E. Dougherty, Esq.


 
Jen is an associate attorney at Steinbacher, Sholder & Stahl.  Originally from Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, Jen graduated cum laude in 2002 from the University of Notre Dame with a B.A. in American Studies and concentrations in History and Government.  She earned her law degree in 2005 from the Villanova University School of Law, where she was a member of the Health Law Society and participated in the Farmworker Legal Aid Clinic.


 


 

Craig C. DeFazio, of Counsel


 
Craig is a 2002 Graduate of Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware and a 1991 Graduate of LaSalle University in Philadelphia, PA and practices in the area of Estate Planning and Elder Law. Craig is the immediate past President and current member of the board of the Central Pennsylvania Planned Giving Council, whose mission is to develop & provide local educational and networking opportunities for planned giving professionals.

 


 

Christina M. Neufer, Paralegal
 

Chrissy is the litigation and estate administration paralegal at Steinbacher, Sholder & Stahl. As the estate administration paralegal, she assists the personal representative of an estate with all aspects of administering an estate. As the litigation paralegal, she conducts legal research and prepares legal documents for filing with the court.
 

 

 


 

Lisa M. Barner
 
Lisa received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Lock Haven University in 1993. Upon graduation from Lock Haven University, she became the Social Services Director and then the Alzheimer’s Unit Manager for Manor Care Health Center in Jersey Shore. Just prior to joining Steinbacher, Sholder & Stahl, she was employed for 11 years as a planning specialist. 

 

 

 


 

Tammy Zilske, BSW
 
Tammy is a long-term care planner with the elder and special needs law firm, Steinbacher, Sholder & Stahl. Tammy is a graduate of Eastern University, St. Davids, Pennsylvania. She holds a bachelor’s degree in social work with a minor in gerontology. Prior to moving to Pennsylvania, Tammy resided in Vermont.

 

 


 


 

Laurie George

Laurie is the Director of the Elder & Special Needs Resource Center and assists in Special Needs Planning. She joined the firm in 2007. Laurie received her Bachelor of Science in psychology from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA. She has experience in human services, including medical social work, case management, and program administration.
